Daniel Kersh is currently a Senior BFA candidate in Lighting Design and Technology at The University of Arizona. He spent three Summers in New York City working for the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company; which gave him the opportunity to assist Robert Wierzel there and at Arizona Opera. He has continued to work with Arizona Opera as a Production Draftsman. He spent a semester studying contemporary art at the Santa Reparata International School of Art in Florence, Italy. His work has been seen at the Lionel Rombach Gallery, the Santa Reparata Gallery, Dusk Music Festival, Breaking Ground Dance Festival, The Stevie Eller Dance Theatre, and Arizona Repertory Theatre and he has created works for Hawkins Dance, Breathe Carolina, and Artifact Dance Project. He will be moving to New York after graduating in May to begin working as a Freelance Lighting Designer and Supervisor/Assistant.
