Daniel Kersh is a freelance Lighting Designer and Visual Artist residing in New York City. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Lighting Design and Technology from The University of Arizona. He is currently the Lighting Apprentice at Arc3design under Al Crawford. He also works as a Lighting Supervisor and has spent three Summer seasons working and touring internationally with the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company. This gave him the opportunity to assist Robert Wierzel there and at Arizona Opera. He has continued to work with Arizona Opera as a Production Draftsman. Daniel received a certificate in Studio Art from The Santa Reparata International School of Art and a certificate in Dance from L’Accademia Europea Di Firenze; both located in Florence, Italy. His work has been seen at the Stevie Eller Dance Theatre, Breaking Ground Contemporary Dance Festival, Lionel Rombach Gallery, Santa Reparata International Gallery, Dusk Music Festival, and Arizona Repertory Theatre and he has created works for Hawkinsdance, Artifact Dance Project, Sam Watson, and Breathe Carolina.
